antique tools im wondering what it is?
i have an Antique Tool and i cant figure out what it is. it is 7 Inches Long with Wood Handle and a metal point about 3 inches long in the shape of a cone about one eighth of an inch at the tip and about one and one and one fourth of an inch at the base of the metal it has a slit from the tip to the base with a knife attached and it folds in and out it has a b with a circle around it and i cant figure out what it is or what its used for plz help
Hard to say without a picture. But you may have a Rigging or Boatswain's knife. The "awl" is a "marlin spike" used for working with rope. They are still in use.
