Does a Wood Carving block/board have to kiln-dried?
Can I use a plank of green walnut or oak as a meat carving board or should it be properly kiln-dried and sealed with mineral oil first?
You definatley dont want to use it green as it will hold germs and bacteria but you can kiln dry it or just set it in the sun for a few hours a day for a year (approximate) then it will be ok to put mineral oil on.

US $120.00
