Why does the handle on Hand saw's (crosscut saws) have a wheat design?
Can't find any explanation on any of the popular research sites, and i'm curious.
Yeah I know that the design serves the purpose of bettering your grip...
But whyyy the wheat, why not something else?
The design gives a better grip when hands are sweaty.
