What's the best way to finish curly maple?
I'm a young woodwooder, and not too knowledgable on finishing. I just turned a curly Maple Bowl, and want a finish that'll "pop" the figure.
Any ideas?

Almost any good hardware store will carry a product called Salad Bowl Varnish, it's food safe. Barring, that, double-boiled linseed oil.
