looking for a machine that sharpens both chisel,gouge,and carving knives, was like the bit sharpener but for chisels and such thanks don
Many places have flat and shaped diamond sanding tools, but you still need either a fine paper or arkansas stone to get your final edge.
It is my experience that there is no substitute for hand sharpening, Any grinding wheel can quickly remove excess like a chipped tip, but long and careful final polish is the only way to get a chisel you can shave with, and anything less is a dull chisel.
One trick I do use is to make wooden shapes that I need and glue wet-or-dry paper to them. By then using them wet they will cut for a long time.
