Some of my fish are swimming erractically. They go up and down and back in forth between a 2 inch radius.?
Kind of like they are having a seizure or something. Never seen this type of swimming before. Some of them just got infected with ich and possible other fungus type disease. Do you think this is part of it. They just are on the side of the aquarium going up and down the side. And one fish is breathing heavy.
You should test your water for chlorine, ammonia, nitrates, nitrites, hardness, alkalinity and PH. If all those check out then they may have parasites they're probably exhibiting a symptom called the shimmies (the erratic swimming leads me to believe they've got some form of parasites). You may try treating the tank with CopperSafe, however make sure the water quality checks out first - you want to eliminate stress causers then treat.
