i need help with a science experiment involvong some flight and physics of flight?
i need to know which of these materials flies the farthest when they are molded into planes of the same shape and size, the materials the planes have to be made of are aluminum, plastic, wood, and paper
It has to be wither aluminium or plastic . Reason is that wood
would be the heaviest and as such is not too good for floatation . Paper is out because it would face the maximum air resistance and would loose maximum in kintic energy .
Now it comes down to relative response of plastic and aluminium and plastic to air resistance and their weight . because plastics can be of so many kinds the exact answer would depend on the per cubic weight of plastic and aluminium .
which ever one is lighter will fly farther .
