Once more the trees assume familiar shapes,
As branches loose last vestiges of snow.
The water stored in narrow pools escapes
In rivulets; the cold roots stir below.
Soon field and wood will wear an April look,
The frost be gone, for green is breaking now;
The ovenbird will match the vocal brook,
The young fruit swell upon the pear-tree bough.
And soon a branch, part of a hidden scene,
The leafy mind, that long was tightly furled,
Will turn its private substance into green,
And young shoots spread upon our inner world
I tried to explain the meaning behind this poem, but i don't get the part

i guess this part relates to our mind, but can't exactly tell what is trying to say....
can you help me to find the meaning in this part of the poem?
He's comparing the mind thawing out to the coming of Spring.The earlier lines dealing with nature are merely to act as a metaphor for the opening up of the mind.
The mind has been closed up in hibernation, now will start to grow (will turn its private substance into green). But the growth is an inward growth, an internal one (young shoots spread upon our inner world.)
