What's a good plane to get for the average beginner aviation enthusiast?
I have been interested in flying and getting my pilot's license. If I do get my pilot's license, then I would purchase and airplane to fly out of my local airport. Does anybody have any good small and affordable that are excellent for a beginner aviation enthusiast?
You have enough answers but I just have to concur, a nice cheap aircraft is a two seater Cessna 150/152 or the 4 seater Cessna 172, although it'll be a tad more than the 152.
Like the rest say, an ultra light, Piper Cub, or even Piper Taumahawk could work too.
