A small uneven bump under the skin?
I had to black heads right on my cheeks and they stayed there for months! I used face scrubs, patches and then resulted to squeezing even used pen tricks but it seemed like no matter what I did there was more of the black head there. I left it along for a while but recently I noticed under the black head surface it feels like solid mounds like they were injected with something. There under my skin and nothings visible but when I squeeze it it just hurts. I can't quite afford a dermatologist so that's not a good suggestion. Has anyone gone through my problem? and fixed it?
I am relatively certain that you have sebaceous deposits, which can be removed only by a (simple, outpatient) surgical procedure. I know you don't want to hear it, but you have to see a dermatologist; get public health if necessary.
Meanwhile, just try to get as much under the bump as possible and push up without bruising yourself. Drink loads of water to flush your system of wastes (these are expelled through the pores, as well), and fill up on the green, leafy veggies and fiber rather than oils and sugar.
Many sebaceous cysts are harmless, but will remain there forever and fill up each month-- even after they are emptied-- unless the pore is sealed off by a physician. A dermatologist always needs to determine by examining it that a cyst is not malignant. In general practice, one should immediately have examined by a professional any skin growth or lesion that has changed in size or color, or that has a discharge.
