What is the best procedure for replacing the spindle on a 96 Chevy S-10 2WD?
I have heard a couple different ways, keep pressure on the spring, don't have any pressure on the spring, chain spring in place, etc. It looks like it will likely be a combination of adding and releasing pressure so that everyhting can be disassembled, but thought I would see if you guys have any guidance.
Thanks.

Dont mean to be an ass but
1. get in car and drive to local parts store
2. buy haynes or similar manual
3. go back home and read while working on truck
We can sit here and tell you the exact way, but if your going to be a "DIY mechanic" you should have some manuals, not only step by step instructions, but pictures, diagrams, and torque specs,
I do have this book , if you would like a scan of this page send me your email. im on messenger right now
