How do you cut petrified wood in slabs?
I have a stump of petrified wood and want to cut it into slabs. How do I do this?
So a saw that cuts tile might work? Thank you for the answer, I really did not expect one. Yes, it is rock, I thought it was concrete at first, but it definitely is petrified wood. So after cutting it do you know how to polish it?
If it is true petrified wood that means it is rock. You will need a diamond wet saw. If the stump is large you may need to have someone with a large diamond saw like those that cut granite for counter tops do the job.
